Rayburn Park, operated by the Corp of Engineers, contains forty-five campsites, eight pull-throughs with 50 Amp electric and water hookups, sixteen back-ins with 30 Amp electric and water hookups, twenty-one sites without water and electric hookups. The park also contains four day use picnic sites, one playground, one waterborne shower/restroom, two vault restrooms, one trailer dump station, and three boat launches. Sites 26-50 are open year round. Sites 1-10, and 55-65 are open March 1 through the Labor Day Weekend.

Lake Sam Rayburn Fishing Report from TPWD (Nov. 25)

Water stained; 72–76 degrees; 1.52’ low. Black bass are good on perch colored topwaters, soft plastic worms, and spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and green tube jigs. Bream are fair on worms. Catfish are good on stinkbait and shrimp.
