Rayburn Park, operated by the Corp of Engineers, contains forty-five campsites, eight pull-throughs with 50 Amp electric and water hookups, sixteen back-ins with 30 Amp electric and water hookups, twenty-one sites without water and electric hookups. The park also contains four day use picnic sites, one playground, one waterborne shower/restroom, two vault restrooms, one trailer dump station, and three boat launches. Sites 26-50 are open year round. Sites 1-10, and 55-65 are open March 1 through the Labor Day Weekend.

Lake Sam Rayburn Fishing Report from TPWD (Oct. 19)

Water stained; 80–84 degrees; 2.65’ low. Black bass are good on watermelon red soft plastic worms, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits, and on topwaters early and late. White bass are fair on minnows, slabs, and silver spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue/white tube jigs. Bream are fair on nightcrawlers. Catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait.
