Twin Dikes Park, operated by the Corp of Engineers and open from March 1 through the Labor Day, is a developed camping area located on the south shore of Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The park contains 46 campsites, (6 sites with 30 amp electric and water, 6 sites with 30 amp electric, water and sewer, 4 sites with 50 amp electric and water, 27 sites without water or electric, and 3 sites with screened shelters, 30 amp electric, water and sewer), 2 boat ramps with 8 launching lanes, 2 waterborne restrooms with showers, 1 waterborne restroom, 1 group shelter, and 1 trailer dump station. Sam Rayburn Marina Resort is located adjacent to the park.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Sep. 3)

SLOW. Water stained; 80 degrees; 6.92 feet below pool. Lots of trash and clumps of hyacinth and weeds were washed out from the creeks into the main lake. Lots of bass are in the shallows. There is a topwater bite around pencil grass and reeds or any cover you can find. Yellow magic and top water bait early have been seeing some action. Crankbaits on points and drains. Jigs and Carolina rigs off ledges and structure. Crappie r slowly move out to brush and timber. White bass school off points. Catfish move out to deeper water and creek channels cut bait doing good.
