Currently offering annual RV sites!!!

Soaring Eagle Campground is a beautiful and quiet year-round RV campground nestled in the Piney Woods of San Augustine County. Unlike many RV parks you won't find rows upon rows of RV's camping as our park is blended with nature and offers larger than average campsites. We are conveniently located adjacent to Powell Park and Marina that offers amenities such as a swimming beach, marina, boat ramps, convenience store and restaurant.

It's your home away from home - make your site your own! We will allow decks and covers to be built on your site. Long term rates are $250 a month which includes water, sewer, trash and free WIFI. Tenant is responsible for electric.

We would love for you to come check us out. We are located at the intersection of FM 705 and C.R. 459. From Pineland, TX, take FM 83 west 10 miles, then go south on FM 705 for 10 miles to CR 459. We are the second drive on the left past FM 705 & CR 459 intersection.

Address is 21583 FM 705, Broaddus, TX 75929. Contact us for further directions. 218-626-7259

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jul. 2)

GOOD. Water stained; 86 degrees; 0.49 feet above pool. Freshwater is still entering the lake from the river, and water is being released. Topwater bass bite is early in the morning and evening. Bass are deeper on points, drains and humps with crankbaits and Carolina rigs. Crappie are good on brush piles, but many undersized fish and bluegill to sift through. Catfish are good in 18-20 feet of water on cut bait. A few white bass are schooling on main lake points. Cast baits to shade. Report by Captain Lynn Atkinson, Reel Um N Guide Service. Anticipate increased boater traffic this weekend as we celebrate our Nation’s Independence Day.
