EVER THOUGHT YOU SHOULD GET PAID FOR CATCHING 16 POUNDS? NOW YOU WILL!

Entry Fee: $195 + $5 admin fee
5 Fish Limit
Team Tournament
Trailering is allowed

How to enter:
- online at www.fishoutlawoutdoors.com
- in person at Tri Lakes Tackle in Huntington, TX
- the morning of the tournament at Lakeview Motel & Store

It is simple! If you catch 16 pounds, you are guaranteed a check.

In our usual tournaments, the number of places paid depends on how many teams enter, but that is not the case in the Sweet Sixteen Tournaments. We will pay every team that weighs in over 16 pounds. Of course, it will be a tiered payout with the largest stringer winning the most money and the smallest stringer over 16 winning the least. One thing is for certain though, if you weigh in 16 or more pounds, you will get paid!

For example, if we have 50 teams entered, we will not pay our customary 1 place per 5 entries. Every team that brings in 16 pounds will be figured into the payout. So if 15 teams weigh in 16+ pounds, then we will pay 15 places. If only 5 teams bring in 16+ pounds, then we will only pay 5 places. You now have a benchmark to shoot for!

******There is a possibility, because it's mid-March on Rayburn, the benchmark of 16 lbs will be changed. All qualifiers for this tournament will vote on to determine what the benchmark will be.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jul. 9)

GOOD. Water stained; 86 degrees; 1.54 feet below pool. Freshwater is still entering the lake from the river, and water is being released. Topwater bass bite is early in the morning and evening. Bass are deeper on points, drains and humps with crankbaits and Carolina rigs. Crappie are good on brush piles, but many undersized fish and bluegill to sift through. Catfish are good in 18-20 feet of water on cut bait. A few white bass are schooling on main lake points. Cast baits to shade. Report by Captain Lynn Atkinson, Reel Um N Guide Service.
