Lake Sam Rayburn

Because Life is Better at the Lake

Crappie Bob's Guide Service

Let's catch some slabs! Crappie are fun to chase and more fun to catch.

With a lifetime of Sam Rayburn experience, I will put you on fish. With my knowledge of the lake and the fish, along with electronic sonar, Sidescan, Downscan, and Livescope, get ready to have some fun. Your catch will be filleted and bagged for you to take home and enjoy.

I have spent years fishing this lake, so that you and your family will have a great time on the water.

Join me in East Texas for a day on the lake you won't forget!

Lake Sam Rayburn Fishing Report from TPWD (Aug. 5)

FAIR. Water stained; 85 degrees; 1.47’ low. Largemouth bass are good still working early and on overcast days. Brush and drops below 12 feet are still productive on light-colored worms, and jigs. White bass are fair suspending deep with minnows. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs in calm, cool water. Catfish are good on live and stinkbait.
