Kris Wilson and Charles Bebber were the winners at the Bass-N-Bucks Bass Tournaments at Lake Sam Rayburn. Their winning total was a 21.41 lb limit. They caught the majority of their fish using Carolina rigged Senko's and Brush Hogs, while targeting secondary points in 8 ft. of water. One fish came off a bed. "It all happened in the morning. We had a limit in the boat within 30 minutes," said Charles Bebber. "We gained about two and a half pounds total weight" noting that they culled one of their other fish. "It was an all-important cull, putting us about two and a half pounds ahead of 2nd place!" John Lemaire and Phil Ransonet captured 2nd place with a weight of 19 pounds. The duo burned a lot of gas checking different areas on the lake. Lemaire and Ransonet used spinnerbaits and swim jigs, fishing water depths between 5-12 feet. Their biggest fish weighed in at five pounds. 3rd place winners Todd Littleton and Daniel Chambers found their fish shallow, along windy banks. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department weekly fishing reports report black bass fishing on Sam Rayburn as good on green pumpkin crankbaits, soft plastics, and Super Flukes over grass in 3-10 feet.
