Michael Fesco of Sour Lake with the 10.04 pound largemouth that earned him a prize package valued at $305,000 in the 35th Anniversary Seal Outdoors Big Bass Splash held recently on Sam Rayburn.

Fishing Report from TPWD (May 14)

GOOD. Water stained; 74 degrees; 1.49 feet above pool. Fish are slowly moving out to summer patterns. Bass are good flipping brush and trees with high water. Pencil grass and hay grass are good with topwater frogs and poppers. Spinnerbaits and crankbaits are good on the points, humps and structure. Carolina rigs and jigs are good on the ledges and creek channels. Crappie are moving out slowly to the brush piles. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows.
